POC - Applying Online

Note:

All POC applicants are advised to apply POC on line at http://id.nadra.gov.pk/pakistan-origin-card/ as manual booking of POC has been stopped. NADRA office will not be able to serve the walk-in applicants of POC.

Please carefully fill the form. Incomplete forms will not be accepted and may cause delay in processing of your application. Also attach all required documents with your form for smooth processing of your application. Affidavit may be need to attested from Pakistan High Commission's Legalisation Department.

 

Documents required for POC Application

Applicants are required to produce following documents with their POC application:

  1. Two recent identical passport size photographs with light background
  2. Original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Old National Identity Card (NIC / ) along with its photocopy (if held)
  3. Photocopy of Parents’/Husband’s NIC or CNIC or POC
  4. Fee payment receipt - when applying by hand (fee is deposited in the bank located inside the High Commission building)
  5. Photocopy of Applicant’s/Parents’ Pakistani passport (if available)
  6. Photocopy of valid Foreign Passport
  7. Full Birth Certificate (Urdu / English). Birth certificates in any other language need to be submitted with English translation. Birth certificate originating from UK need to be attested both from Legalisation department of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and Legalisation department of High Commission for Pakistan, London / one of its Consulates.
  8. Photocopy of CNIC or NIC of blood relative living in Pakistan
  9. Marriage Certificate attested by Embassy / Foreign Office of marriage registration country. Marriage certificates originating from UK need to be attested both from Legalisation department of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and Legalisation department of High Commission for Pakistan, London / one of its Consulates.
  10. In case a foreign citizen is applying for POC being spouse of a Pakistani citizen, Pakistani spouse has to submit an affidavit attested by High Commission
  11. Applicant's permanent address on POC application form (field No. 33) must be an address in Pakistan.
  12. In case an applicant has Renounced Pakistani Nationality, Renounciation certificate is mandatory

Note:

Applicants are advised to provide a landline or mobile contact number so that NADRA staff can contact them in case of any problem with their application. Unavailability of a valid contact number may cause indefinite delay in processing application.

 

Processing Time and Delivery of your POC

Approximate processing time of a POC manual application is 2 (two) to 3 (three) months. However delivery can be delayed due to incomplete/invalid information or verification problems.

You will receive your POC by post (recorded delivery or by DHL) at your UK home address, mentioned in the POC application form.

 

What if you don’t receive your POC with in delivery time?

You can track the status of your NICOP/POC application by visiting NADRA’s website www.nadra.gov.pk. Click the "NICOP / POC Tracking" link on this website and use 10 digit Application Tracking ID printed on top right corner of your receipt received from NADRA office.

You can also call NADRA Call* Centre Islamabad directly at +92 51 111 786 100 to check the status of your application.

Delivery of your card can be delayed due to incomplete/invalid information, missing documents or verification problems. If you do not receive your card within delivery date you can contact your respective NADRA office through email, phone or fax. Please provide the tracking number of your application for inquiries.

 

Notes:

Only Manual applications and applications received via MRTs can be tracked using NADRA website. Applications processed through NADRA Swift Registration Centres (NSRC) cannot be tracked online.
