Machine Readable Passport (MRP) Collection / Delivery
MRP Postal Delivery
Machine Readable Passports can be dispatched on the request of the applicant. The applicants desiring to receive their passports via post are advised to approach the MRP Postal Delivery Desk, after submission of their application. Postal delivery charges will apply.
It is clarified that in case of loss of passport during mail, the responsibility will be upon applicant or Royal Mail and Pakistan High Commission will not be responsible for it.
MRP Collection
Machine Readable Passports (MRPs) can be collected from MRP Office at High Commission for Pakistan during Ramadan between 1000 to 1300 hours from Monday to Friday except public/announced holidays.
Applicants need to collect their passports in person. However to facilitate the families, only one family member can come to collect the MRPs issued for all his / her family members.
Compulsory action to be done after collection of your MRP
After collection of MRP each holder is required to put his signature or thumb impression in the given box on page 2 of the passport. In case of minor, thumb impression of the child is to be affixed (Female = Right Thumb, Male = Left Thumb).
Important Note:
All applicants are advised to collect their passports by the due date. Passports not collected a month after the collection date will be destroyed as per existing policy.
